PeopleFluent OrgPublisher Web App

PeopleFluent OrgPublisher Web App is a new version for clients currently using OrgPublisher versions prior to 11.16 or new customers.
This update gives administrators access to the chart’s status and Publish button at the top of every page when editing a chart configuration. Additionally, a View Chart link gives administrators a way to quickly view the last published version of the chart they are working on.
This update allows administrators to export and import charts created with PeopleFluent OrgPublisher 11.16 or later. Administrators can perform an export as part of their backup process and, if needed, use the Import button in the Admin web app to restore an exported chart to a Charting web app on the same or different server. The chart’s data source must already exist on the destination server prior to importing and it must have the same field names and structure as the exported chart. PeopleFluent recommends this workflow for administrators who want to copy charts between environments, such as moving from development to staging and production.
Chart administrators can now perform complete chart and view creation and management in the PeopleFluent OrgPublisher Admin web app without needing the legacy desktop application. Key features include:
The Charts page provides information about and extensive control of charts.
Custom fields can be created and configured in the Admin web app. Administrators can quickly see a summary of field definition information at a glance, in sortable columns including data type, box section, position type assignments, security, and sample data drawn live from the data source.
Custom fields now support formulas using the VB.Net language and provide an option for real-time testing against all records in the chart’s data source. When an administrator tests a formula, the Result field shows the calculation performed against the first record it can process with data.
Search of custom field data can be configured to a suggested set of values for when the field has a limited set of values.
Position types are configurable in the Admin web app.
Groups can be created and managed in the Admin web app. The Groups page allows administrators to add and delete groups and categories.
The Group page allows administrators to define the criteria for a group as well as perform a search against the data source to see what records match.
License Notifications
License Expired
When a license expires, the Charting web app displays a notification indicating that users may be viewing stale data because the chart's data is not being automatically updated.
Position Count Limited
If a chart exceeds the maximum position count permitted by the license, the Charting web app displays a notification that the position count displayed has been limited due to licensing and users may be viewing an incomplete chart.
